Round Robin Photo Challenge - Seeing Green
Green is, or was, my favorite color. I say so simply because with my relocation to the north-east I'm not so sure I should have green as my favorite color anymore. Might make me depressed in the middle of winter when green becomes less natural. Green is the color of life and real winter is a suspension of the growing cycle.
Winter in Houston is a faux winter, it was green all year for me.
Now green on green is a favorite subject and I know where I can find green all year round up here. It'll require effort on my part to shoot green this the winter and maybe that'll deepen my respect for the hue. I shall keep green as my favorite color and I'll make the effort to go see it this winter.
You'll see.

I absoultey love this shot. The greens just jump out and grab me.
I too love the shot and the patterns that I see. Happy weekend!
Beautiful picture ! I love green only in nature and it wouldn't bother me at all if everything would stay green the whole year. I hate winter, lol !
Gorgeous greens, with the light coming through, and I love the lines of the leaves in the foreground.
For winter green, look for pines and holly up there, and maybe even mistletoe.
Well, I must have missed something along the way ;(....Welcome to the NORTH EAST!
We have beautiful color in the spring & fall. Pray for snow so you have something to shoot in the winter...Ü
Grey is a nice color...Ü
Love your green shot!
This is a great photo! The green is very vivid and crisp. Great job!
oooooo. Almost looks like a painting. Your composition and lighting is impeccable as usual. I can't wait to see what you'll do with winter in the Northeast -- it's not green, but you can get some fantastic photos of patterns in the ice.
I'm sure you'll find great stuff to photograph, even in the middle of a northeastern winter. Is that an iris? It reminds my of my mom's irises when I was growing up outside Syracuse.
Very nice photo, you captured green very well!
