Dragonfly with Crinum
This shot took a while as I had metering issues along with focus lock trouble. The dragonfly was cooperative though. I keep thinking I'm done with shooting dragonflies with floral backgrounds but one more will do. What I'd really like to shoot is a dragonfly being eaten by a lizard.
From the look of my weather forecast I'm due for another round of rain. Loud thunderstorms this afternoon and the cat was none too happy about the flooded porch this evening. I can hear tree frogs tonight and that is a subject I do want to shoot. Hopefully I can find one.
I'll look for frogs tomorrow.

I'm sure the dragonfly being eaten would make a fascinating photo subject, but I would feel so sad for the dragonfly, I enjoy them so much. But yeah, I know, circle of life and all that. :)
