A Little Off Today

Not here with this shot but I packed the camera in after missing a succession of butterflies. I was somewhat more interested light than subject. I kept shifting to compose on the butterflies and that often results in a missed shot. I know when I'm beating myself.

Some days I can shoot through the lack of patience on my part but I just could not settle in to wait for the butterfly photo this morning. Kept trying to force the shot rather than let it unfold. Pick a flower and wait on the butterfly. Surprisingly it works although it can be several minutes of waiting without success.

I'm a bit rusty on the butterflies photos from too many lizard photos.
