More Butterflies!

One thing that seemed to dominate my shots from that day was butterflies doing something. Active butterflies. I shot a few that were "at rest" but by and large I looked for the active shots.

I was not familiar with this type so I shot the "at rest" photo of the butterfly. A reference shot. It's a good habit to form with the camera. When you see something unknown, get the simplest, fastest shot for reference.

I think this might be my favorite after the Rice Paper butterfly photos I posted through Christmas. Tomorrow I'm supposed to see severe weather so I'll just photograph the cat. Feline Friday will be here after a two week traveling tour. I'll try to update early.
