Mutabilis Rose

Mutabilis Rose
Coming up on bee season in a month or so. The bloom numbers will decrease and it gets very easy to photograph bees on blooms. Last year shooting three bees competing for pollen was a common occurrence..

I've done some bee photography with the Canon S2 but probably not enough to be ready with this camera. The good news about that is you'll be seeing more photos like this as I fiddle around with depth of field and shutter speed. Last year's advice is where I'll start. I've got another macro setting now. Super macro with this shot. Less noise on the higher ISO settings along with meter settings to consider. I'll bee ready.

More butterflly shots today, but I never could close the distance enough on those.

I guess we are in bee season already. The bees here were searching every for food. Includin on my arm. I panicked and then I started blowing at the damn thing to get it of off my arm. I don't taste good! LOL

Seriously though, they were everywhere. They even were even on the inside at work.

They even seemed to like beer.
