Gulf Fritillary

Gulf Fritillary
Spotted a Gulf Fritillary this afternoon. My favorite butterfly as it's a very predictable feeder. Flutters methodically from flower to flower. I knew it would get to this Zinnia bloom so all I had to do was wait. While I was waiting I also should have switched from evaluative metering to center weighted average. Blew out the flower.

Yes, as I have had a chance to photograph them at the conservatory, I find myself drawn to them. They are the most paitent of the ones I have seen. Lovely autumn colors also. :)
