Mushroom Monday

Actually this was taken last Thursday. In the last 30 days I've had some 15 inches of rain and this has to be one of the wettest summers I've had in a long time. Got a bit behind with my daily shots over the fourth of July. The dragonflies are everywhere now but I wanted to blog these mushrooms.

The Round Robin Photo Challenge is on for Wednesday. Theme is Americana and I'm in! I have some shots from the fourth but I'm still mulling over shooting something else.

Jessica of Quicksilver has launched a new photo meme called "Salsa Saturday". Looks great and I'm also planning on a entry for that. I like the theme as I can be very set piece with my subjects. Getting movement into a photo sets me thinking.

One last bit of linkage before I scoot. How to Photograph the Space Shuttle. Cloudy here tonight but by following the instructions on the page I was able to get directions on where to look. The heavens-above website has great information for observing orbiting objects.
