Anole

Another anole lizard! This was one of my first shots this morning and even though I snapped for a few hours today I was not able to better this shot. Those tiny folds on the back the neck and then the eye. I had good light today and I'm surprised that only one photo made it through my review. I could have gone with five anole photos tonight all taken today.

Selecting photos is rough. In hindsight there is another anole photo I should share as it does have light and texture. I took a pass as that anole was just sitting there. I also skipped over some behavior shots of two young male anoles having a spat. Another anole in a tree but I could not get an angle. I learned a bit today watching the lizards and working the camera. Closer is better than volume. Tomorrow should be a repeat lightwise.
